This award commends a budding and enthusiastic woman in construction who has gone above and beyond in her role, is a promising individual to look out for and is an industry icon in the making.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Female professional working in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region
Nominee must have up to 8 years of work experience in the construction industry
Nominee must hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in a construction related field
(e.g. architecture, engineering, etc.)
Individuals from technical and non-technical functions can be nominated
WHO CAN SUBMIT NOMINATIONS?
Self-nominations are accepted and encouraged
Colleagues, peers or businesses may nominate more than one individual
Past winners, finalists and ambassadors are welcome to apply
Please do not submit your nominations for the same individual (or yourself) more than once, if multiple entries are received, only the most recent entry will be considered - older entries will be deleted
A SUCCESSFUL ENTRY MUST INCLUDE
A comprehensive and fully completed entry form
A clear mention and description of:
The projects the nominee has undertaken and her role in those
How has the nominee excelled within the area she operates
The ways with which the nominee has demonstrated her capabilities, expertise, knowledge in the undertaken projects within the area she operates
A copy of their degree
Information on initiatives taken within the workplace to demonstrate peer-to-peer learning, mentorship, inclusion, not older than 1 April 2019
Recommendation letters (minimum 2) from team members, business stakeholders, and/or clients supporting the display of exemplary leadership skills by the nominee, not older than 1 April 2019
Evidence of industry awards/recognition received, not older than 1 April 2019, if any
ENTRIES WILL BE EVALUATED BY THE JURY ON
Quality and originality of the submission – not on quantity of nominations
Achievements and experience, including clearly outlining the nominee’s scope of work, achievements, adaptability, and ability to work in unplanned situations
Leadership skills, including demonstrating skills on initiative taking, team work, and leadership qualities displayed by the nominee
Peer feedback clearly showing the nominee’s profile as a Next-Gen Woman
